Advanced Plasma

Plasma bt is the brand we use to provide this innovative treatment. It uses plasma, a special form of a gas, to penetrate the skin, tightening skin fibres and inducing new collagen growth.

There are 2 sides to the Plasma bt system – plasma surgical and plasma shower.

Plasma bt is CE approved.

Plasma Surgical

Plasma surgical is commonly used around the eyes to tighten excess skin, removing lower eyebags or excessive upper lid folds. It can achieve results close to surgery. We also use plasma surgical on other areas of the face for lines and wrinkles (such as lip lines or crow’s feet), or the body for scars, stretch marks or skin tag removal.

  • Non-surgical blepharoplasty
  • Lines and wrinkles
  • Skin tags

Plasma Shower

Plasma shower is unique to Plasma bt. It’s gentler, using low temperature plasma. It’s great for acne because it destroys bacteria. It also greatly enhances the absorption of anything placed on the skin afterwards. This is why, at Regenix, we combine the treatment with the RRS skin nutrition system. After plasma shower the skin really soaks up this combination of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids – perfect for optimising skin health.

+ More information

Q. What is Plasma?

A. Strictly speaking, plasma is the 4th state of matter, after solid, liquid and gas. Essentially it’s a gas, in this case atmospheric, that is ionised (electrons removed through the application of energy).

Q. How long between treatments?

A. Ideally, 4 to 6 weeks.

Q How many treatments will I need?

A. You will see a marked improvement after the first treatment. For best results, and to ensure longevity, a second treatment is recommended. Some indications may require 3 treatments.

Q. How long between treatments?

A. Ideally, 4 to 6 weeks.

Q. The eye area is sensitive. Does it hurt?

A. When we use the plasma surgical, anaesthetic cream is applied for a minimum of 30 minutes. After this, the treatment is well tolerated.

Q. What will I look like after treatment?

A. The best way to answer this is to show you pictures at consultation. In short however, the treated area will be red after treatment, along with small black dots formed by the plasma (we usually recommend that you bring sunglasses to wear on the way home). Swelling will then increase over the next 2 to 3 days. After this, the black dots will last another 3 to 4 days. We can provide concealer if required.

Q. Do you have pictures of results that you can show me?

A. Yes. All pictures will be of treatments we have performed.
